Is it allowed to put a three-year-old in prison???
This young girl from afghanistan is 12 years old. She spent 20 days in the detention centre of Pagani and is now on her way into a unknown future.

This family from Palestine was released from Pagani yesterday. Because they were released to late they missed the ferry and spent the night outside.
This family got refuge papers from the UNHCR, but they are not accepted in Greece.
Another day is passing by. In Pagani, the same proscedure as avery day. People inside are waitng, waiting for their release and to continue their lifes.
While cloth donation were distributed, everybody became very excited. People started scrapping for a shoe, a short or a trouser. Local television journalists cover the chaotic philanthropy. A young man behind the bars seems disappointed:
Detention centre Pagani next to Mitilini. Despite its capacity of about 200 people, in Summer 2008, nearly a thousand refugees were detained in the facility.
This blog is about the noborder camp in Lesvos, Greece (25.-31.8.09) and the developments and actions that followed from it.
